The lack of foresight by Standard Bank, described before, seems to be systemic. Having accepted my fate in the lost-card-no-banking cycle, I decided that I would grudgingly accept the receipt of my bank statement each month as the bare-minimum of service provision. Enter, Dependency Hell!
As before:
- My problem is: I want to receive my monthly statement via email
- Standard Bank Solution 1: Email requested statement. SUCCESS
- My problem is: I want to receive my monthly statement automatically via email ever month without having to email a request for it every month
- Standard Bank Solution 2: Log onto internet banking and set it up there.
Oh look, I’m back in that Standard Bank forsaken loop.
