Very odd indeed – most birds wouldn’t even roost on a balcony inhabited regularly by humans and Bean, much less nest there. Neil – I think try with the photography anyway. Even if you can’t get very close I can probably ID the bird. Reply
They appear to be sparrows of the lesser-brained variety. The photo of the bird is even more boring than the next, so I won’t post it. Reply
